Interested in an internship?

Arts for Learning internships are available year-round. If you’re a college student with an interest in the nonprofit sector and education, we could be a good fit for you. Current Internship Opportunities

Arts for Summer Learning – Program Interns (2)

The internship is in three parts. Part I: interns will create and implement a fundraising project in the spring semester and do preparatory work for the program (10 days); Part II: interns will manage the implementation of the program in 8 classrooms at 4 sites – assist the artists, participate in programming, implement assessment of the program, and provide administrative support to the site (24 days); Part III: interns will gather data and create documents for final reporting (5 days). This internship is estimated for a total of 210 hours. Interns will have multiple senior employees as mentors throughout the experience but reports to the Senior Director of Programs directly.

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning future career in arts administration, non-profit management and fundraising, and gain the confidence and experience needed to excel when it’s time to make your own way in the world.

Good candidates will be college-age, responsible and self-directed, and have a passion for the arts, children and arts education.  Having your own transportation is necessary. A minimal stipend is provided.

Time Commitment:

Part I: Spring semester, 10 days (start time depends on the intern’s schedule)

Part II: June –July, 24 days

Part II: end of July into August, 5 days

Specific schedule is based on assigned site schedules.
