MKNA CLERGY BREAKFAST POSTPONED

Due to conflicts in many schedules of our invited attendees we have decided to postpone the Annual Meridian Kessler Clergy Breakfast to a later date this year.

We want this event to be an opportunity for collaboration, resourcing and fellowship. While fellowship is important in our faith community we seek to make this an event that is worthy of your valuable time to attend and participate within our clergy community.

Stay tuned for announcements for our rescheduled date, we are looking at the early fall but no date has yet been determined.

Thank you for all you do in our community.

Sincerely,

Vanessa Betancourt

MKNA

IMPORTANT IMPD COMMUNITY CONVERSATION 5/1/14

Posted 3:40 AM by

IMPORTANT IMPD COMMUNITY CONVERSATION

May 1, 2014 at 6:30 pm:

The normal North District Task Force meeting for the month of May will be rescheduled to 6:30 pm on Thursday, May 1, 2014, and has been moved to the Knights of Columbus Hall, located at 2100 East 71st Street, just west of 71st St & Keystone Ave.

This evening’s event will be a Community Conversation for North District residents to have an open discussion regarding violence in our city. As many of you have already read press releases and watched the news coverage on this topic, this is our very own ND community’s opportunity to meet on the issue.

Commander Koppel and Officers of the ND Community Relations Unit will be in attendance. This idea was kicked off in the city by the Mayor & DPS Director, along with Chief Hite, on March 20th. It was followed up with a city-wide Community Conversation hosted by Council President Lewis, which was held at Light of the World Christian Church on April 8th. In conjunction with ND, the other IMPD police service districts are also scheduling Community Conversations within their respective service areas.

Please change your calendars for May 1st accordingly, in order to attend and participate in this open forum. We look forward to seeing you there and hearing your thoughts and ideas.
